Less than 1 month now and then it starts: the fifth edition of the Rapalje Zomerfolk\u00a0Festival!<\/p>\n

When David Myles had the idea of organizing his own festival almost six years ago, nobody knew if it would\u00a0succeed, but not even half a year later, the first edition of the Rapalje Zomerfolk\u00a0Festival was there. Main idea\u00a0of this event is the motto of Rapalje: Be Easy And Free! The starting point is that all visitors should feel as if they come to an amazing garden party at Rapalje’s house. And that’s actually exactly what it is, but then a bit more extensive. With the help of the band, the crew, volunteers, as well as family and friends, Zomerfolk is\u00a0getting bigger and more known\u00a0each year, and now\u00a0we have reached the 5th edition of this unique festival! Nog minder dan 1 maandje en dan is het zover: de vijfde editie van het Rapalje Zomerfolk Festival!<\/p>\n

Toen David Myles bijna 6 jaar geleden het idee kreeg om een eigen festival te organiseren, wist niemand of het wel ging lukken, maar nog geen half jaar later was de allereerste editie van het Rapalje Zomerfolk Festival een feit. Centraal bij dit evenement staat het motto van Rapalje: Be Easy And Free! Uitgangspunt is dan ook dat het voor alle bezoekers moet aanvoelen alsof ze bij Rapalje op een gezellig tuinfeest komen. En dat is het ook eigenlijk, maar dan wat uitgebreider. Met behulp van de band, de crew, vrijwilligers, maar ook familie en vrienden wordt Zomerfolk elk jaar wat groter en bekender en zijn we dus dit jaar alweer aan de 5de<\/sup> editie toegekomen! Noch nicht mal mehr ein Monat, dann ist es endlich wieder soweit: die 5. Ausgabe des Rapalje Zomerfolk Festivals! <\/p>\n

Als das Festival von Rapalje – fr\u00fcher bekannt unter dem Namen “Midzomer Festival” – vor f\u00fcnf Jahren umbenannt wurde in “Rapalje Zomerfolk Festival” und in den Stadtpark von Groningen umzog, wusste noch niemand, ob das Festival ein Erfolg werden w\u00fcrde. Die Hauptorganisation \u00fcbernahm vor knapp sechs Jahren haupts\u00e4chlich David Myles, und er hat auch heute noch alle F\u00e4den in der Hand was die Organisation unseres Festivals betrifft. Im Mittelpunkt dieses Events steht immer noch das Motto von Rapalje: Be Easy And Free! F\u00fcr die Besucher soll es sich ein bisschen so anf\u00fchlen, als ob sie zu einer geselligen Gartenparty von Rapalje kommen w\u00fcrden. Das ist es ja auch irgendwie – nur ein bisschen gr\u00f6\u00dfer! Mit Hilfe von Band, Crew, Freiwilligen, aber auch von Familie und Freunden w\u00e4chst das Zomerfolk jedes Jahr ein bisschen, und nun feiern wir schon das 5-j\u00e4hrige Jubil\u00e4um.
