The Rapalje Fan Club has organized something special of which all proceeds go to a very good cause!
From the beginning Zomerfolk has been a family festival, where children play a major role. We believe that children cannot early enough get in contact with good music and great people and, therefore, the Children's Village is (literally) the center of our festival.
Because the Rapalje Fanclub knows how much this means to us, they started a fantastic initiative. The members have all created all kinds of wonderful, by Rapalje inspired, articles and there will be a raffle during the festival. There will also be a collection box in the stall; even 1 Rapalje coin from each family visiting would make a huge difference. ALL the money that is collected will go to the Pediatric Oncology Foundation in Groningen. This cause has been the personal choice of Rapalje because this foundation is committed to help children with cancer in many special ways. Lord you can read all about this organisation.

Zomerfolk has been a family festival from the start, in which children play a major role. We believe that children cannot be introduced to good music and special people early enough, which is why the Children's Village is (literally) central to our festival every year.
Because the Rapalje Fanclub knows how much this means to us, they have started a fantastic campaign. The members have created all kinds of beautiful articles inspired by Rapalje and these will be raffled on 4 and 5 June by means of a tombola. There will also be a collection box in the stand; if every visiting family already puts 1 Rapalje coin in it, this already makes a huge difference. All the money that is raised with this will benefit the Foundation Pediatric Oncology Groningen for the full 100%. Summer folk is the beginning of a family festival for children with a great roll. Wir finden, dass Kinder gar nicht früh genug mit guter Musik in Kontakt kommen können und darum steht das Kinderdorf auch immer ganz zentral auf unserem Festivalgelände.
Weil der Rapalje Fanclub knows who is important to us, they have one tolle Aktion ins Leben gerufen. Die Mitglieder haben all beautiful – von Rapalje inspirierte – Sachen gemacht und diese were redeemed am 4 and 5 June in a tombola. Außerdem wird eine Sammelbox im Stand der Tombola zu finden sein. Wenn jeder Festivalbesucher nur eine Rapalje-Münze spenden würde, then würde ein vaster Betrag dabei heraus kommen. Everything Money, was hereby spent on the 100% foundation of the Pediatric Oncology Foundation in Groningen.
