The Shannons \u2013 Folk 'n Roll <\/strong>a combination of Irish traditional music, covers, folk and own work. The Shannons is formed by the Irish musician Noel Shannon and Lynn Shannon born in Deventer. We switch lead vocals and harmonies and both play guitar and mandolin. A pleasant acoustic sound for every audience.
\nIrish folk duo \u201cThe Shannons\u201d launched the one-liner \u201cFolk 'n Roll\u201d. They have been making music together since February 2010, but they can be seen more and more often with the English violinist Jimmy Ellis and Victor Lacken from Dublin can also be booked as a band.<\/p>\n

Noel Shannon (IRL) \u2013 <\/strong>vocals\/guitar\/mandolins
\n<\/em>comes from Cork in Ireland. Its musical roots lie in Irish traditional music. In Ireland, Noel has performed as a support act for well-known Irish musicians such as The Fureys, Dublin City Ramblers, The Dubliners and Aslan. Since 1993, Noel has performed as a solo artist throughout Europe.<\/p>\n

Lynn Shannon \u2013<\/strong> Vocals\/guitar\/mandolin<\/em>
\ncomes from Deventer (NL). Her musical influences include rock, pop and country.<\/p>\n

Victor Lacken<\/strong> \u2013 guitar\/vocals from Dublin playing Irish traditional music all their life<\/p>\n

In October 2014, The Shannons released their first album \u201cMarried Man\u201d. An album with mainly own work, Irish traditionals and a single cover.<\/p>\n
