Hey festival goers! Calamity Jane is back at the gates of Zomerfolk!!!<\/p>\n

Imagine: Johnny Cash and an enthusiastic, somewhat tipsy Irish sailor who together make the city unsafe. What do you get then? A mix of classic Irish sing-alongs about Molly Malone and her beautiful city, along with well-known country classics and heart-warming Americana ballads. Add to that a good dose of Irish jigs and reels to dance to, and the party atmosphere is complete!<\/p>\n

These four musical bon vivants \u2013 Eoghain, Luke, Zelfje and Amy \u2013 have been traveling around festively dressed for years with their musical covered wagon and their always cheerful companion, Billy the Bison. Whether at a festival, market or street corner, they bring a mix of their favorite tunes from both sides of the ocean: music that reflects the Irish heart of America. Expect beautiful ballads, danceable tunes, catchy drinking songs, timeless country classics and all the well-known melodies from Ireland, the Green Isle.<\/p>\n

These musical bon vivants love to sing, make music and have fun. With their years of experience on violin, accordion, guitar, Irish whistle and beautiful harmony singing, they offer everything needed to play those well-known tunes and surprise you with unique melodies and their own songs and tunes. Song requests are more than welcome and singing along is always encouraged! They are extremely proud to announce their brand new show \u201cInto the West\u201d, packed with favorites from the Americana, Irish and Country genres.<\/p>\n

And if that's not enough, they have a special surprise for you! Amy (Annemarie) is a woman of many talents. As a flutist, but also as a hardshoe Irish dancer, she will enchant visitors to Zomerfolk with her impressive footwork. And if that's not enough, she's assisted by our very own Guest Galway Girl: Aoibhin!<\/p>\n
