Rebels of the Sacred Heart: remember this name for this is the band you will party on at Zomerfolk 2017!
Rebels of the Sacred Heart plays songs from none other than the American folk punk sensation Flogging Molly and comes close, very close to the original. With only fantastic musicians, including lead singer Robin Slutter (former frontman of Scrum and current lead singer of Saints ‘n Sinners) and Sjoerd van Ravenzwaaij (Harmony Glen/Banjo Sjoerd), we are very excited about this addition to our festival. The lineup for Zomerfolk 2017 is becoming bigger than ever for our 5th edition and we have yet to announce a couple of bands! Are you there?

Rebels of the Sacred Heart speelt nummers van niemand minder dan de uit Amerika afkomstige folkpunk sensatie Flogging Molly en komt enorm in de buurt van het origineel. Met stuk voor stuk fantastische muzikanten, waaronder leadzanger Robin Slutter (voormalig frontman bij Scrum en huidige zanger bij Saints ‘n Sinners) en Sjoerd van Ravenzwaaij (Harmony Glen), zijn wij enorm blij met deze aanwinst voor ons festival. De line-up voor Zomerfolk 2017 is grootser dan ooit voor onze 5de editie en we moeten nog een paar bands aankondigen! Ben jij erbij?

Rebels of the Sacred Heart covern Nummern von niemand geringerem als die aus Amerika stammende Folkpunk Sensation Flogging Molly und kommt sehr nah an das Original heran. Diese Band spielt mit ausnahmslos fantastischen Musikanten auf, darunter Leadsänger Robin Slutter (ehenmals Frontman der Band Scrum und aktuell Sänger bei Saints ‘n Sinners) und Sjoerd van Ravenzwaaij (Harmony Glen), darum sind wir sehr glücklich über diesen Zugewinn für unser Festival. Das Line-Up für das 5. Jubiläumsjahr des Zomerfolks ist größer als jemals zuvor und wir sind noch nicht mal fertig mit unseren Bandankündigungen. Bist du dabei?
