Accessibility

Do you want to get onto the site quickly and easily? Then choose a bicycle or public transport. If you do come by car, please pay close attention to the directions below.

Bicycle

There is ample opportunity to park your bicycle at the festival. You will find the bicycle parking across the pond.

Car

There are various parking options. We recommend parking at P+R Hoogkerk or P+R Haren and continuing your journey by public transport. Buses depart regularly from here towards the Stadspark. If this is not possible, you can park at the Gasunie site. Please note, however, that it may be full during busy periods.

Public transport

Zomerfolk is easily accessible by public transport. Whether you are coming from Central Station or one of the nearby P+R facilities, always consult ov9292.nl for up-to-date travel information and routes.

Park Rules

• Please dispose of waste in the designated places
• Throw cigarette butts in the appropriate ashtrays
• Do not bring your own glass or can, for safety reasons
• It is not allowed to bring cool boxes, cool bags, (beer) crates and trays. A sandwich and a bottle of drink is no problem
• Taking canopies, tents, parasols and the like is not permitted
• Coin system with deposit on earthenware cups, plates and bowls. During Zomerfolk payment is made with the Fyndlingh, our own bronze coin.
• Dogs are allowed on a leash
• Use our free toilet cars
• Report nuisance or calamities to one of our employees, this can be done at the information stand, security or one of our employees with a recognizable shirt.
• Taking and using hard drugs is strictly prohibited. If there is any nuisance caused by soft drugs, you will be removed from the festival site. In serious situations the police are called in.
• When photographing people (close-up), especially children, it is appreciated if, for publication on social media, for example, permission is requested from the person in question or guidance is requested. Not everyone likes it when photos are made public without being asked.
• Be kind to each other, don't argue ♥

stay overnight

There are many accommodation options in the city of Groningen: from hostels to campsites and from Airbnb to hotels. Check booking.com or Google for options.

Camping City Park

We are highlighting this one specifically. It is the most popular place to stay during Zomerfolk for a reason! Within crawling distance of the festival and filled with Zomerfolk enthusiasts. At the moment, there are only a handful of tent spots (without electricity) still available.
