Paul Watchorn, the lead singer of one of the world's most famous folk bands The Dublin Legends (formerly known as The Dubliners) brings his one-man show to Zomerfolk! With songs and stories about Ireland he conquers the hearts of music lovers worldwide and thus keeps Irish traditions alive.

Paul is a real 'Dub'. He is considered one of the best 5-string banjo players in Ireland and as such has played all over the world. He is also an accomplished guitarist and singer. Music runs in Paul's family; his brother Patsy spent many years with The Dublin City Ramblers, The Dubliners and until recently The Dublin Legends.

Over the years, Paul has played with many different artists, including his brother Patsy. He was one of the lead singers for Derek Warfield of The Wolfetones and toured with him for over four years as Derek Warfield and The Sons of Erin Band of The Wolfetones. During that time he played throughout the US, England, Scotland, Spain, France and Germany and toured Ireland extensively. Since then, Paul has continued to tour Ireland and Britain as Paul Watchorn and The Sons of Erin Band.

Paul started his career as a professional snooker player and played in many of the ranking tournaments during those years, but the attraction and love for the music and singing was too great to ignore, so he devoted all his time to it. Paul is never happier than when he is on stage and you can see and hear that.
