TOASTING IN THE PARK

Zomerfolk presents: Toasting in the Park. In honor of 100 years of Stadspark, the organizer of the Zomerfolk festival invites regular visitors, local residents, and friends of the Stadspark to a special evening in the park: Toasting in the Park!

Between 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM, they will give a preview of their event taking place that same weekend. This free evening is dedicated to cultural activities with gentle musical accompaniment.

Wout Zijlstra will be present especially for this occasion to present the so-called Highland Games; traditional Scottish games of strength and agility, originally intended to determine the strongest of different clans. The celebration will be opened by a performance by Tammo & Band, and organizer Rapalje will also appear on stage. Furthermore, there will be dancing, bagpipes, delicious food and drinks, and plenty for the children to enjoy as well.

Admission to Proosten in het Park is free and takes place in the City Park behind the Ni Hao City Pavilion (the north side of the pond).
