Accessibility for the disabled
The Rapalje Zomerfolk Festival is also accessible to disabled visitors. We advise disabled visitors to take into account a festival site with grass where, among other things, the weather can influence its condition.
Transport:
From Groningen Central Station you can take bus 10 (towards Hoornse Meer/Martini Hospital) approximately every 15 minutes; you get off at the Concourslaan stop. It is then a 15 minute walk to the Rapalje Zomerfolk Festival and the Camping Stadspark. From the bus stop, the route will be indicated with signs.
Returning by bus after the festival? This is also possible! At bus stop Kamerlingh Onnesstraat (in the street diagonally opposite the exit stop on the Concourslaan) line 10 runs until 00:43 (direction Korrewegwijk via Grote Markt) to Central Station and the center.
Missed a bus? Then call one of the many taxi companies in Groningen or walk to Central Station (15-20 minutes walk from the Concourslaan stop).
There is a large parking lot at the Gasunie building, approximately 100 meters from the site, where you can park for free. Parking attendants will guide you there.
From Groningen Central Station it is about a 30-minute walk to the Rapalje Zomerfolk Festival site. The site is also easily accessible by bicycle. There are more than enough bicycle racks available to park your bicycle.
Residence:
You can stay overnight at Zomerfolk, namely at Camping Stadspark. This is a stone's throw from the festival site. We recommend booking early, especially if you have a motorhome as the campsite is full every year.

Zugänglichkeit für behinderte Besucher
Der Rapalje Zomerfolk Festival is also a good place to be for the behinderte Besucher. That's a good thing, that's behinderte Besucher clear, that's the Festivalgelände one big Rasenfläche mit Parkcharakter ist, auf dem that Wetter die Bedingungen beeinträchtigen könnte.
