Bonsart Bokel is the creator of the Youtube channel Radio Retrofuture and the documentary series The Steampunk Beginners Guide. On his podcast, he has interviewed over a hundred members of the Steampunk community, including writers and comic book illustrators. After talking about Steampunk for ten years, he thought it was time to write stories. This became a short story series called The Association of Ishtar - a multiverse of Steampunk adventure and horror. The ambition is to create a crowdsourced universe where the readers take the place of the researchers who explore new worlds and discover the secrets of the Association of Ishtar.

Greetings, the name is A. J. Hodes, and I am a comic book writer from the Netherlands with the blood of two continents running through his veins. Plus, I have a passion for history, reading, video games, music, and the visual medium of comics. My roots lie in the Franco European comics I grew up with and seinen mangas like Golden Kamuy, Hadashi No Gen and Vinland Saga. I would like to thank everyone on my team who contributed to Jaguar Warrior Issue 1. A special thanks goes to my artist, editor and all-around good chap NEF for providing me with the artwork to bring the story of Jaguar Warrior to life, Amalia Art for providing me with the amazing title logo, my followers on social media, my family and friends who supported me in this endeavor, Mike Jimmy (Life on Cora) for helping me making the files print ready and for letting me attend this writer's market at Rapalje Zomerfolk 2023. Finally, I hope you folks enjoy this story as much as me and NEF loved creating it.
